Dr. Lijo Kurian, MBBS, BAMS — Integrated Non-Surgical Adenoid & Respiratory Allergy Management Expert. Based in Thrissur, Kerala, he founded AdenoCare to bring medical, Ayurvedic and dental/functional thinking into one clinical conversation about childhood airway health.

Modern medicine, Ayurveda and dental/functional perspectives each contribute something useful. The clinical judgement is in knowing which is relevant for a particular child.

Much of what matters happens at home — sleep, habits, triggers, consistency. Parents who understand the reasoning follow through with far better results.
Honest about limits
Non-surgical management is explored where clinically appropriate. Where surgery or other specialist care is indicated, that is said plainly.
Why AdenoCare was created
A gap that kept repeating
Families arrived after years of repeated prescriptions, with the same symptoms returning each season, and often with a surgical recommendation they did not fully understand. What was missing was not treatment — it was a structured way to understand the child's airway, breathing, allergy pattern and habits together, and to follow them over time.
AdenoCare was built around that gap: individualised assessment, integrated management where clinically appropriate, parent education, and long-term tracking.
The dental dimension
Working with Dr. Sophy, BDS
Breathing pattern, oral habits and dental development are closely related. Dr. Lijo works alongside his wife, Dr. Sophy (BDS), so that dental and functional findings are part of the same assessment rather than a separate referral made years later.
Consultations at AdenoCare, Thrissur are by appointment, so airway, breathing and dental findings can be reviewed together in a single visit.
Mission
I'm on a mission to help 1 lakh children permanently heal adenoids and respiratory allergies—without surgery—using AdenoCare's Integrated Airway & Breath Correction (ABC) Program, empowering parents with root-cause awareness and children with natural growth, immunity, and development for a sick-free, healthy life.
Vision
A generation of children who breathe through the nose, sleep well, and receive early attention for chronic nasal obstruction and adenoid-related problems — with parents who understand allergy triggers and can act early, without fear-driven decisions.
This is stated as a mission and an aspiration, not a guaranteed outcome for any individual child.
Who AdenoCare serves
Children aged 2–18, and the parents who care for them
Primarily children with adenoid hypertrophy, chronic nasal obstruction and respiratory allergy-related problems — especially those with mouth breathing, snoring and recurrent respiratory symptoms.
